Hey sons... how's it goin/hangin? (hair that is)... <=D
Wanna grow my nut that'll mak a Hippie look bald! I've 6.5 months growth on top nearly. Last cut was a blade 3 or 4 all over.. which was bout 1.5 inches I think, & gotta tidy up around bak & sides only a few days ago. (Left the top & fringe alone.)
Wat I wanna know is.. *Is it best to grow it all now the way it is.. OR.. shave my head with a blade 3/4 all over & let new hair completly grow for a yr or 2 without any trims or tidy-ups along the way?
Im 100% commited & confident to let it grow even though it mite be sheared! I'll stick with my aim is wat Im sayin & won't be tempted for a scalpin.
Thanks, Glenn...

HAIR PEACE! ()=D
The best way to let your hair grow is to.....let it grow. I fail to see how cutting all your hair off would be the best way to let it grow. When you initially start to grow it, of course it's going to be of different lengths all around, if that's what you're getting at. There's NO way around it. The reason for this is that the hair in the back is at the nape of your neck. Even though it will be the exact same length, or around the same length, as the hair at the front, it will appear longer since it's roots are located further down. In order to have one length all round, your bangs are actually going to have to be longer than the back. So just leave your hair alone for a while and let it grow. Best of luck.
Cheers man... that all makes sense. If aint broken dont fix & all that!? So wat ur sayin is, even if my head is shaved evenly all round it's gonna end up at different lengths wen it's gettin longer anyway?
Exactly. So just let it grow. I wouldn't bother evening it out until it's about to your shoulders, if you want to grow it that long that is. Even at the chin isn't too bad either.
Grand. I wanna wear it back with a slight partin to left lik in me pic.. touchin shoulders is my tempory aim. Don't wanna use gels or conditoners, combs or brushes.. jus to wash it once a wk.. maybe twice in warmish water with J&J Baby Shampoo.. lol.(That stuff work?) Speakin of which, Im gonna be joinin a gym on a regular basis so will I need to wash it every day then?
Hey, Pops, how'zzzzit hangin'?
Based on my many ears of ropin' & ridin' wit my looooooooong hair all shoved up inside my this here cowboy hat, my ad-vise is that only a tenderfoot would shave his head in odor to gro his them there mane long, --- yep, I reckon yoos never gonna git much length thataway!
Take care, Pardner, --- and don't let no ceye-yotes give yoos a-scalpin'!

Howdy Ken!
Guess Im yapin off lika Young Gun yeh... "Im growin out! But Im growin out shootin!!" YEEEEE HAAAAR !!
Keep forgetin that after time the 'crap bits' will be hid anyway.. & come wat may, a trim! If a barbar touched a hair on me head at present I wudn't have a 'tender foot' let me tell ya.. <;)
ôIf Im goin to San Franciscoô... ôI'll be sure to have a shower in my hair!ô
Ya can tak the hair outta the man... but ya cant tak the man outta the hair!
*Nods down.
Hi Glenn,
the best way is to simply let it grow - no trims, no layerings, no shavings, etc. It's a persistent myth to believe that cutting helps growth - there's absolutely no truth in it. Just transfer the old adage to hair: "Fighting for peace is like having intercourse for virginity" (proverb modified to be rated "G") - it's logical, isn't it?
Happy growth,
Hans-Uwe
Hey Hans...
words of wisdom there alrite... think that's the mistake I made in past with trimmin it wen aimin for length in the 1st place.. or at least the notion. After a few trims it wud get sum how butchered wat have ya & I'd then pak it in & get it all cut. I've put my foot down however... makin a stand with the locks this time & will just let it live!
