I know one german girl who has red hair and she always took henna to it cause she doesnt like her natural hair color. I always tell her that I like red hairs but it seems too many people make fun of her cause of the red hair...
You're right Tai Fu, many people don't like their red hair... It's a shame for it's such a beautyfull and rare haircolour... And it's always so shiny and healthy looking... Oh well, who's happy with their own hair... (well, I am ... lol =) )
Well, I wasnt happy until I started growing it out, thanks to the support of the guys on this board, my ex-gf, gf at the time of beginning to row, who just loved it. And me comming to accept the things I cannot change about myself :)

I always HATED my haircolor until I decided to grow it out in November '05. I eventually got used to the comments but children and adolescents can be harsh growing up with red hair. People actually carved things into the benches at my school about me and my hair color. Pathetically immature, but its was damaging to me as a kid.
Now I absolutely love the uniqueness of the color. Its rare, and I kinda like that. Plus it means i'll be able to get away with those 2-3 mini braids in my hair like from braveheart that I like so much. :)
Yeah I know what you mean about red hair. I guess cause its so uncommon people just want to make fun of it. I'm likeing my color the more my hair is growing. You've got great progress so far. Your lucky you've got straight hair, should get good length.

needless to say, your hair is perfect for growing it out, and it looks better and better as you gain length! I'm sure, once it's at shoulder or midback length, you'll find it hard to imagine that you ever sported those short-hair styles in those long bygone days...
