Now this isn't a stab at the company involved but I've heard a couple people say to me that Head & Shoulders shampoo damages ur hair... makes ya go bald an all... lol. My Dad used it on me as far bak as I can remember & it never did any harm & he's been usin it 20 odd yrs.. he's 60 & still got a full head of black hair so wat's the deal? I use it still from time to time & it's actually the only 1 that makes my hair soft, shiney & managable then anythin I've ever used before or since. Maybe thats the problem... lol!

It does no damage what so ever and doesn't make you go bold. People assume that because it removes dandruff it must be extra harsh but this isn’t so. The shampoo is no harsher than any expensive shampoo. The dandruff is washed out by the shampoo which is mild. The reason the dandruff doesn’t comeback is because of an anti fungal type ingredient in the shampoo which doesn’t damage hair at all.
That is some preposterous claims. As if it could make you bald? utter BS!
