Whats with the flips in peoples hair, they seem so strange considering that they are supposed to be related to weight and gravity. I mean some people seem to never get any flips at all and some seem never to stop.
My hair is weird because when I wash it, it dries straight and will stay like that for the rest of the day, however once I go to bed and get up again in the morning my hair can be anywhere and full of flips which combing just fails to sort, only another wash can fix the flips and I dont have time to wash my hair everyday and wait for it to dry!
I was wondering what other peoples experiences with those damn flips had/has been.
Those flips are called "body". Don't knock them. When your hair gets long enough, they will actually make your hair interesting. The hair you have is the hair you have. (I know that sounds stupid, but pay attention to it anyway!). If you have straight hair, it won't ever be curly (yes you can get a perm, but there's a price to pay). If you have curly hair it won't ever be straight (yes, you can get it "relaxed" but you will pay the same price as those who get the perm for curls).
Enjoy the hair you have, whatever it is. Don't try to "fix" it. And when it gets long enough, whatever it's doing right now will be exactly what makes your hair interesting on your head.
