I've included a ponytail picture as that is how I wear my hair 80% of the time + I think it looks just so darn cool.
By the way guys, I am very soon approaching (in roughly 2 days!!!!!!!!) the point at which I cut all my hair off last time. And soon passing it!!!!!
The only downside is that my otherwise wonderful (i.e. in everything except as regards my hair) mother has been giving me a bit of a hard time recently.
As my hair gets longer (with no benchmark- as this is all new hair territory for me from now on) I hope that the pressure and negativity she is putting forth don't grow at the same rate!
Anyways, even though you can't see my face in this pic, this is one of the main reasons I have long hair i.e. I love the ponytail!
You look fantastic Dean, that pic shows how long your hair really is. I tend to think of people's hair as shorter than it is either cause their avatars are old or cause the avatars dont usually show the length entirely, but focus on the face.
That is excellent progress Dean, I do hope you won't get much more grief from your Mom on your hair. I would think that the length of it now would show how hopeless changing your mind might be :)

This year has been 2006 and 5766 in the Jewish calendar for me, with the Jewish New Year 5767 (Rosh Hashanah) approaching pretty soon.

I seem to remember a mention that you also like to sling the Ponyail over your shoulder as well. I find myself doing this all the time these days. And do I ever love that one!

The ponytail looks great, Dean! I'm still anxiously awaiting the point when I can gather all my hair in one ponytail and not have long locks falling on my face. It's been almost a year for me, and I'm almost (but not quite) there.

WOW, I agree with ChrisG, I see your avatar and thnk of you looking like that, then BAM, your hair is way longer than I realised and it looks fabulous.

Dave, that Avatar is from the last time I grew my hair. After the drastic cut I kept it close to my heart as something that was a symbol of what I had had-believe me it felt like forever until it became long again-the second time around was so much harder for me....
...yet for you this is your first serious try, evry inch of hair and very month in which it grows longer is a new step for you. Each of those steps and stages is so rewarding in their own way-you, who happen to have a somewhat slow growth rate also happen to have more time to look out the window and see the sights. In other words while for some growing their hair long is a rapid process (just look at ATP for example!) for you it is a process that can be savoured.
So enjoy it and please don't get down on yourself.
(Besides I wish my beard would fill in like yours!)

Im here to confess to you I wear my hair in a Ponytail to probably 85% of the time to this is due to me being at work and the Hot weather as I sweat to much when I wear mine hanging down so I wear it in a Ponytail to prevent this from happening to me !!
