Hey there!
Well, I've been reading the posts about long hair and bodybuilding and wheter they mix or not and I decieded to drop my opinion as well...
I actually do workout as well =P Tough I do it at home and noone really knows about it for now. I started like three years ago in a phase where I actually cared with what other tought and tried to follow the looks a man should have. I was in the middle of the awkward stage (accidentaly, i wasn't growing actualy) and I cutted my hair in a crew cut style. Then i started to work out at home, looking for that magazine cover look lol
Oh well, what teenagers do =P
So then I just decided to grow my hair, after I had been working out for like 5 to 6 months. I actually still think I'm really skinny, but as a part of my opinion, just keep reading =P
Ok now I'm posting picture from how I am right now...
After working out for such time as three years now, I don't think I have accomplished too much but either ways... I think that almost every man look forward to having the biggest muscles he can gain, tough if you asked me if I prefered to keep my hair long or to being really big, I'd chose my hair, obviously =)
Even because, I don't think people look good being too big, and despite sometimes I'd like to be bigger (and I eventually plan to enter a gym in the future), now I only work out basicaly for general health (and of course a little of esthetics), tough I do think that a less muscled, not so big buffed look compliments my long hair, and also my personallity, much better. Other reasons are because I want to keep a certain gracefullness in my body and in my mooves, since I do even like to dance, and I think that a toned but not so buffed body compliments a man much better.
Either ways, exercising is real fun and really healthy, so I can say "go for it people" hehe...
Either ways, I just wanted to let you know what i think =P I just had my hair tied in the pic because I want to keep the progress for the "hair" progress pictures =)
I wish a very happy growing for you guys =P Hope I wasn't picky =P
That sums it up simply and perfectly.
C'mon boys drop down and give me twenty!
...no...make that thirty!
LOL... I soon as I read that, and saw that stern-looking picture, I had an immediate impulse to comply with the man's instructions! :-)
Yes SIR!
Thank you! Earing that from you really made the day lol!
!
Thanks for your opinion Joao. I couldn't but agree with you more.
Justin~
Yeah, your pretty cut, thats what chicks want, not super huge muscles... well at least from my experiences, what kinds of ab exersizes do you do? just sit ups? Can't wait for my hair wo look like that.
Sadly, that does seem to be the case. Girls seem to be obsessed with abs.
It frustrates me because, I guess I was gifted with nice chest development and I work so hard on it. But from my experience and random polls I've done, not many girls care for a nice chest.
It seems that more gay men are into pecs than girls are.
That is probably due to the fact that women don't see anything sexual or erotic about a man's chest. Like, it's just there. Some find it a sign of strength, but beyond that, it doesn't arouse them, for the most part.
Sigh, girls are odd. I mean, right now, they're into very thin effeminate looking guys *shrugs*
Maybe it's just me but I view pecs as the equivalent of breasts. Why girls don't view it the same amazes me! LOL
Sorry but I just had to chime in about this.
/slightly off topic rant
Yeah dude, same here, I have been into Brazilian jui jitsu, and pecks come with overpowering guy while on your back. And you can feel your lower abs being worked while on you back doing a triangle choke, but nothing for upper abs :(
Hey there!
Yup, I only do situps twice a week and that's all for abs workout... Actually I've been a little lazy when working out the abdomen but oh well =P It's too hot anyways =( Thank's for the coment hehe
Hey João:
Those abs look GREAT! It's apparent that your body is every bit as well cared for as your hair.
Just wanted to add that young guys like you need to be careful with your workout routine, as your body is still developing and could be subject to injury. I'm not an exercise physiologist, but I know that I've read that guys' bodies continue to develop into their adult form from puberty into their early 20's. I'm sure there is information available on the web about the proper way for young guys to work out. I would suggest taking a look to see what's out there, and make sure that you're not doing anything improper in your routine.
Of course, the best advice is to consult a doctor, especially one who is familiar with sports medicine, if you have such a person available in your area.
Just don't want to see you get hurt. Have fun... you look awesome!

Hey Dino, thank's for your concern =)
Actually I already read a lot about it... sincirely I always search the net when I put my mind into something just to check what the bads and goods from it...
Eventually I must be carefull and not over-do the exercises, but either ways I don't exersise all that much so... =) Thank's again for your concern =)Was well apriciated!
Good for you, João! I should've realized you'd be on top of things already!
