Hey Dalena Banshee, your hair is off to a good start. I have a really cooool idea, since you and Alyssa have similar length hair. Both you and Alyssa might try growing your hair without any trims (with occasional progress photos along the way) and see who has the longest hair after a couple of years.

Yes, we are growing it together, not purposely, but thats how things turned out. My hair was about an inch when I started growing it.

even at the current, somewhat longish, or "awkward", stage, you look already a lot better than with short hair! You look a lot more balanced, and, in a way, fascinating, than with your original short style - I'm sure Alyssa appreciates that.
In addition, it'll only get better as you gain more and more length.

Looking good there, man. Your hair suits your face well, and it'll only suit it better as it gets longer.
You and your girlfriend look really cute together, especially in the second pic, IMO. It's really cool that you're both growing out your hair together. So many girlfriends want their partner to cut their hair instead.
