Hey Jason!
I was checking your progress at your site and I came to the conclusion that you have made such a huge progress! I know you have trimmed your hair along the way, and i was wondering, how many trims have you had during the growing progress so far?
The reason why I ask this, is because the ends of your hair are so healthy and look so beautyfull... I have been thinking, for months already, about having a little tinies possible trim myself (as 1 to 2 centimeters maximum) and I was wondering as well how does it feel after a trim and if you notice some improovements on growth. I believe that there is no improovement in growth, but if the ends are damaged, they can break and show no progress at all, and once you trim them they start going lower and lower, giving the apearence hair is growing faster. Actually, i did a search and destoy session this week and didn't find too many splits, but the ends are really dry and I'm afraid some of them may break on the combing/brushing prossess...
Thank's for reading, and the update comes later this weekend =) =) =)
Hey João,
Thanks for the compliments about my hair. :)
This is my history of trims:
I started growing in February 2004. I kept cutting the back till August 2004.
I got a 1/4 trim and evening up cut in December 2004.
My last and only other trim was in January 2006 with about 1/4 inch trimmed.
Trims don't make hair grow faster but I believe in getting yearly trims. The ends are so much more healthy and look better IMO. When I brush my freshly trimmed hair, the brush goes right through and the ends look great.
BTW, thanks to Bruce Gallagher who did the expert trims for me!
Thanks for the props, Jason...
