hi all,
you see i have 2 wait 3 long years 2 have long hais, unil that i have 2 use a short and classic hair cut, im so unluchy and why,because my school says it.
I wish that was ilegal, if u know some thing about it please tell me thanks.
It might be illegal for your school to do that depending on where you live and what kind of school you go to. I live in the US and go to a public school in Pennsylvania. I read the student handbook for my school (link at bottom of message) and it doesn't say anything about hair length, except they prohibit "attire which is disruptive to the educational process or which constitutes a health or safety [issue]." (pg. 11)
If it's a public school in the US, that might be illegal. But, I'm not a lawyer or anything, so I don't know for sure.

try to check with your local chapter of ACLU (American Civil Lberties Union; www.aclu.org ), or check the "Gender Public Advocacy Coalition" or www.gpac.org .
Maybe the school's hair code is indeed illegal, and once they suspend you for growing your hair, you might be able to take them to court. -
Do at least your parents support your wish to grow your hair? Is that high school the only school you could go to? What state do you live in?

A peace of advice: wait until you graduate high school then
grow your hair. I started growing it when the Beatles
entered the scene. I got lots of hassles from the school over the years.
Many years later I grew my hair past my waist, graduated with
honors despite getting in trouble with the hair lots of times.
Looking back on it I would have waited until after high school.
I loved having long hair, unfortunetly the school didn't and
I got lots of hassles for it.
