I know I've seen somewhere on the Internet how to make a decent looking braid, with idiot-proof pictures. Could someone point me in the right direction?
And if it the braiding guide doesn't exist, it should. Any takers?
Kudos to this board, it's through this support that I have ever reached the point where I have to ask about braiding! Going through a job search now and looking for a "passable" style. Tried putting it in a bun for a few interviews but I would like to experiment with another option.
There is Dreamweaver Braiding, which has instructions for a vary large number of braids.
Somewhere I picked up the Klutz book "Hair - A Book of Braiding and Styles", that has pretty basic techniques.
