Is there a way to access the archives? Is this something that might be available in the future if it is not now?
Any info from one of the guru's on here would be appreciated.

Thanks for the making the topic! I'm interested to find out as well, I'm sure there are many gems to be found in the archives.
The archives have fallen into a state of neglect. It was a lot of manual hand-coding work to keep them up, and the one guy who was doing them moved on to doing other things with his time. Files have been saved in case anyone wants to take on the task - it would be a LOT of work to bring them up from October 2004 to present. They are not a high priority for anybody.
One problem with the archives had become that they grew too large to search easily with tools which will work on a web site. The only way to find stuff had become "using Google", and we found Google had not put many of them in their database, so even that search was spotty.
The archives that do exist were left on Victor's site, because that is where Google expects to find them. We have saved copies of them in case we ever put them on here.

Hey Bill! I'm not sure exactly how the archives have been kept thus far, but I am willing to take on that task?
The idea I have is just to write a tool to add all of the posts into an SQL database, and write a program that searches through that database. I'm willing to do that and host it myself if it gives me access to those archives :) I'm not sure if that's a response you were looking for, but the offer is out there just in case!
We can certainly talk about it! I'll be in touch via e-mail.

That sounds like a great idea. A calendar interface is a great way to access archived data. I'm using that on a project I'm doing. If it's being written in PHP, I can help (I'm creating the same thing for my site).
