I want to continue to grow my hair out but I do like getting the sides cut about 1" up around my ears so I can just comb the hair back on the sides. I want to continue to grow the back out so I'm not talking about an undercut just trying to keep the sides under control and not so puffy. I think I'm treading on a mullet though and I don't want to sport that cut. Maybe I should just do the undercut all the way around about 1 to 1 1/2". Any opions or pictures showing a undercut opposed to a mullet would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
I can understand you're not wanting you hair to cover your ears, BUT the way to do that is NOT
by getting a mullet cut nor should it be achieved by getting an undercut.
I wear my hair in a tail most of the time and my hair does not cover my ears at all.
Why not just let your hair grow out (comb it straigh back with gel, etc.)And then when it's long enough
then you can make a tail which will keep your hair off your ears
and even give you a nice look.
Undercuts usually end up causing many problems and mullets involve continuous haircuts.
In the end, it's YOUR hair and you are FREE to do whatever you want but...
...Pleasee don't make things WORSE for yourself by doing the WRONG things!
Good Luck!
Besides, mullets look awful and undercuts will really thin your hair, as well as require constant cuts. Just grow it long enough to tuck it behind your ears, and the problem is solved free of charge and free of a bad haircut.
Thanks guys it looks like tbe best thing to do is let it grow and stop making excuses to get it cut or play with it.
