Longhairs in Golden Gate Park
Wow they are all such incredible photos! I loved the first group shot (Rick has a faceful of hair lol!). Its great that you guys get to meet up off the board, there are enough longhairs in your area for a whole club for yourselves :)
I am glad you posted the pics so we can have a virtual trip there if not the real thing. You guys can provide the world with regular longhair tours of the city. :)
Oh, that so rules! I wish I could have been there. I've got to figure out some way to get over this flying thing. Elizabeth, those pants are spectacular!
Forgot to add, the pants match up perfectly with Absolom's shirt. Female tiedye pants, male tiedye shirt on the other end; perfect symmetry. Was that planned, or did it just happen?
We arranged ourselves nicely for balance but the shirt/pants was luck. My only tie dye items are socks, long johns, a dress and those pants so I was probably not going to be wearing the same as anyone else no matter which one I had picked. Ooh, Steve, Bill and I will be in your corner of DC Friday at lunchtime, shall we try for a quickie-meet with Alun and Chris?

I won't be able to make that one on Friday but Elizabeth are you going to be in Maryland for any free time on any weekends coming up? Maybe we can do the Renaissance Festival at least once :)

Hey Steve, it was not planned. It is a rare day that I don't wear a tiedye shirt. There are 365 days in a year, and I wear a tiedye shirt on maybe 350 of those days.
It was really cool that Elizabeth chose tiedye pants on that day. This is the first time I had met her, and she has some amazingly long hair. Her hair is a good 7 inches longer than mine.

Holy crap... I never realized Elizabeth's hair was that long... guess I never saw a pic of her length... wow, amazingly long. Pretty sweet flower park too... ain't got nothing like that up here in the Northeast.

Thanks for that, Ardroth. We overheard some pretty interesting comments along those lines too. There were a few young boys watching and I bet some of them might have been thinking long hair could be in their future too. The only one that made me shake my head was the lady that walked by calling out something like "she's the winner" seeing me lined up with Scott and Robert. Sure it was lighthearted but comparisons and contests seemed to be on her mind instead of the "wow" of two guys with way beyond ordinary hair. Oh well, her loss. Length had nothing to do with me being a winner Sunday, it was meeting men I admire that made it so.
