According to wiki, dandruff is not caused by dry scalp. So, dandruff sufferers who cut down their shampoo routine in hopes that it will clear up the dandruff problems are mistaken. According to the article, people with dandruff problems get rid of dead epidermal cells through their scalp faster than people who do not have dandruff problems. The average person without dandruff gets rid of these cells through the scalp about once a month. The average person with dandruff may be getting rid of these epidermal cells every few weeks, thus causing it to build up faster and in larger, more noticeable clumps. The article also stated that washing the hair with shampoo more (not less) would be effective, whereas washing less is not going to help.
Dandruff posts are not too uncommon around here, so I thought this might help some people. Also, in case anyone wants to read the whole article, which goes into much greater detail than I did here, I will leave the link.
wiki article on dandruff
Just use head and shoulder, it will solve all your dandruff problem. If that doesnt help that stronger thing begins with N helps... I think dandruff is caused by oily hair so thats why washing hair more helps.
after reading that artical on the wiki I finaly remembered the only shampoo that worked for me was T-Gel. All the others like head & shoulders and s blue always made it worse.
