hi everyone. This looks like a great message board, hopefully Ill be around here more often. Im thinking of letting my hair grow, very long. now my hair is wavy (not straight nor curly) and right now its very short. this is a picture of what my hair looks like right now... so what do you recommend? should I cut it all off and start growing from zero, or just let it grow from now..? because as you can see the sides and back are cut lower then above, so how bad can this affect my hair growth? will it be all uneven or how will it be?
thanks
This is actually a good hairstyle to start from. Starting with extra length on top is a good thing, because the sides and back have a lower hairline, therefore, they will hang down lower when long. Many people, especially those with straight hair, have to trim the back of their hair during the growing out process, because the back is too inproportionate to the front. With wavy or curly hair, this tends to not be a problem.
So, basically my answer is don't cut it down to nothing and then start growing. This appears to be the perfect starting point.
ohh interesting, alright thanks!
