Hey sorry I asked this before, but how do you make your hair curly and wavy so I can slick it back?
My hair still needs to grow a bit, but I use a headband to hold my hair in place, but my hair is too straight for how I want it. I was just wondering how do you make your hair like the guy in the pic.
Also, anyone who watches Lost, can you please give me tips to have my sideburns and beard exactly like Sawyers?
Thanks a lot.
Hey there =)
First of all, I'd like to tell you that I don't think that it is a good idea trying to have hair/sideburns exactly as someone else's... Simply because if your hair is straight, than straight hair is all you will get.
I don't really know what is your definite goal, but if it's like in the picture than that's not much of a long hair. Either ways, you won't be able to get that slight slight wave. The only possibility oh changing your hair type would be by perming it and that would be really damaging =(
Sorry but I don't believe that if you ave straight hair you can achieve exactly that look =( Either ways you can still gell straight hair back and get something similar =) And something that only makes part of YOUR image, and not someone else's =)
I wish you the best luck =)
Sorry if I sounded discouraging fella, it seems that after all there is a way for you to get what you want =) Good luck!
No problem dude! :D
If your hair is straight and you want to make waves and curls there are two basic
ways to do it:
1. Put some kind of hair dressing or gel into your damp hair. The take use your fingers and a comb to make waves. You can do this by pushing your hair down in one place and moving the comb in the
opposite direction. Sort of zig-zag it. Makes nice waves.
2. You won't want to do this but another way is to use small hair rollers.
Roll up your hair while it is damp and let it dry. Unlike a perm, rolling
your hair wih plain water and/or gel will not damage your hair.
I guess people with wavy hair are all set!
Thanks dude :)
Anyone got an answer to my beard/sideburn question? :D
If you go to a good salon and don't mind paying for it, you should be able to get a perm that would be very close to any wavy or curly style you want. However, I wouldn't recommend it. Perms can damage hair, grow out and would need to be maintained, and are expensive. I think it really is best for most people to find a hair style they like which works with their natural hair. Many guys with wavy or curly hair would love to have really straight hair.
The kind of procedures to turn straight hair into wavy hair do indeed do some damage to the hair, but if you are only going for this kind of length, damage is not a big issue at all. To maintain this length you would probably get a trim every month or two once you reached it. This would get rid of any damage to your ends, which is where it would be. So, if you really want this hairstyle, and you don't mind paying money to make it this way, then i say go for it. =)
