Hey dudes,
I'm new to this forum, but however, I am no stranger to hair growing!! Looks like a nice place, I must say!
Well I've been growing my hair for around 10 months now, I've always wanted long hair but never did I take the initiative to start, simply because I'v had a cba attitude with most long-term projects! As i said, I started growing around 10 months ago with two school-instigated haircuts, (and most likely I'll have to get another one when i go back), so comments and the likes would be most appreciated!
One more thing, if I dont dry my hair straight, it annoyingly bunches up and sort of twists outwards. This leaves me looking rather ridiculous, how am I to solve this dilemna?!
hi, what do you mean by drying your hair straight?
btw you look a lot like julian casablancas from the strokes...
I mean that when you get out the shower, you like dry it with a sort of fan hair dryer thing
is that a good thing...?
Grow it longer :) You may end up looking like Chuck himself. he had some nice curls.
Sorry to hear about your school's primitive hair codes, that's a bummer :(
As for the flip, just let it grow past that stage, and it'll look better. THere's always going to be a stage when hair looks rediculous while growing out. Using aloe gel, or wearing a hat might help a bit.

First of all you said you after dry your hair or it bunches up you mean sticks out instead of hanging down straight !
Could mean a few things like conditioning your hair or your hair not beeing long enough as gravity then kick in when it is long enough to stop it bunching as that weights it down straight!!

I know exactly what you mean about it twisting outwards... I'm at about 9 months and when i step out of the shower with my hair completely sopping wet by fringe curls and flips completely outwards. If i leave it to dry it forms a sort of bizarre hat brim around my forehead. It's truly ridiculous looking! lol. i also have to dry my hair with a hair dryer for it not to do this. I am worried about what it is doing to my hair as everyone always says not to use dryers.
Anyway, your hairs looking good. I also echo the strokes comment. Finally, i dont know where you live or what your schools like but they shoudlnt force you to cut your hair if you put enough resistance to it. It is quite smart. Try to get them to compromise or have a trim tha makes a difference and satisfies them but wont take too long to grow back.
Catch you laetr.
