ive been playing heavy metal guitar for 2 years, i'm getting pretty good, and i think it's time to start growing my hair long. :)
right now its only around 3 inches long in the front, 2.5 in the back. i am having a small problem. i want my hair in the back to hang down, but instead it always sticks out slightly outwards and to the sides. this gives it a really unpleasant "rat-tail" look. i think this is simply because it's not long enough yet. will this problem pass when my hair gets longer?
Yeah, as it gets longer there's more weight and it'll get past that flip stage, just give it time :)

Since your questions was already answered, I'll just say it's cool to hear of a metal guy *growing* his hair.
It seems a lot of people are cutting their hair these days, and it's good that it's not a trend everyone is following.
