That would require exactly the same hairstyle and a very precise photographer not to change the angle one bit.
I don't know for years, but Gollan did something a bit like that, where he took photographs of his hair growth every month.
The fact that he always takes front/side/back pics lets you really see the progress.

Check this out, he's got awsome hair!
What happened with Gollan, by the way? His website hasn't been updated in over a year. I've been using his site very much lately as reference and I've been wondering what his hair is like now.
I heard back in May this year that he was busy working on getting a pHD in some field of study. I dont know if its true or not, but if it is then that would explain everything!
Oh, if that's the case then I'm extremely happy for him! I was thinking something bad happened, like he'd cut his hair off and completely ostracized himself from the longhaired communities. Maybe someday he'll stop by again and show off his knee length hair.
I saw the video and it's on my favourites - it's a beautiful piece, just showing how quickly life can pass by. I agree that a similar project showing hair growth would be nice, but isn't Noah's 'Everyday' idea copyrighted?
You can't copyright something unless you're earning money from it.
but isn't Noah's 'Everyday' idea copyrighted?
You have to have something unique to copyright. Time lapse photography is common. He could copyright HIS video with his image, but that would not restrict anyone else from doing the same for themselves.
Hello !
I saw this clip too, and i found it fascinating. The music is perfectly choosen...
I love it...
