  Hi all, as I'm actually in the awkward phase, I try to control my hair, and the best technique I've found yet is to put laque on my hair.

  This way, it stays in place, is shiny and soft, so no problems so far.

  The thing I'm asking myself, is: is Laque damaging for hair?
  Basically it's made of chemical stuff, so I wonder if it can do any damage on long term on my hair? Is it like gel, is it harmless?

    I can't think it would be anything but seriously damaging.
    You're talking about the stuff you use to coat wood with, right?

    you dont mean lacquer right?? I paint guitars with that stuff... very flammable and toxic. They also use it for nail polish.
