Now that we're all entering Fall weather I was wondering if anyone else experienced bad static around this time?
I do use a boar brush, but I routinely switch to finger brushing my hair. I don't have a photo at the moment, but my hair hangs an inch or so above my shoulders and is board straight.
Using the brush or my fingers I still experience static and I don't use any products in my hair besides shampoo and conditioner. I thought my conditioner would help, but I keep experiencing the same problem every year.
(Hope this isn't a repeated topic)

Just spray a little "Static Cling" on your brush. "Static Cling " is a product that comes in an aerosole can (with an orange colored cap). It's designed to stop static cling on your clothes, but I've found it also works great on hair. And there's no reason it should cause any problems. It can be purchased at most grocery, drug stores, and probably Walmart.
Are you sure that's good for your hair? I know the spray you're speaking of but I'm worried it'll make my hair sticky, or cling in thick pieces. It's straight enough to show up anything.
Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it
I've used it and I assure you there is no buildup of any kind. Why? Because most of the product is water that's bee ionized (or some such thing). By the way, I mentioned it was called Static Cling. It's not. Static cling is an anti-static sheet you put in the dryer. The product I'm referring to is called "STATIC GUARD". Sorry for any confusion. Try it. It really does work - and leaves absolutely nothing on your hair.
