Does anybody take any extra vitamins/herbs to help the hair along?
yea i mega dose. what your body cant absorb, you pee out. but you are getting the full potential out of your vitamins. here is my current stack. when i say 3x thats breakfast lunch and dinner. 2x breakfast and dinner, 1x breakfast only.
multi vitamin 1x
biotin 3x
vitamin c 3x
fo ti 3x
omega 3 3x
hair vitamin 3x
eye vitamin multi (1x dinner on this one)
MSM 3x
i buy the cheap brands due to the over saturation.
fo ti is also know as he-she wu. is the main ingrediant for hair growth in Shen-min, but alot cheaper to buy as fo-ti.
i can take these amounts with no stomach upset.
added benifits the fo-ti helps keep hair color, and the MSM has REALLY helped an aching shoulder.
if i had to take just a few of these it would be the muti for the eyes. i have eye issues. and the multivitamin. also the MSM and vitamin c. but, i would rather take them all. i am growing from a totally shaved to the head-bone and im 2 1/2 months into it. i had a pony tail before and not super long but longish and i want it back man! back i say!
Jehote (the angry short hair...)
where do you get biotin all by itself? i have looked but never found it.
I found some at Wally World. It comes in different sizes also.
Okay thanks Michael; I'll look for a wally world. thought those were only in National Lampoon's Vacation though, ha ha....

I take a biotin supplement once a day. The last time I grew my hair out, the second half of the 14 months is when I started and I did notice a difference. Plus, it's cheap to pick up a bottle and WalMart or Target, only $2 a month.
