Hi all,
I rarely post, but now I have kinda reached the end of my hair growing. It's been about 2 and a half years. I got about 3 inches off a month ago and now I'm looking forward to getting it short again.
However I don't want to waste my long hair without doing something cool first.
Problem is I can't really think of anything that I'd like to do with it. I'm not gonna get dreads so all I can think of is the undercut, which I'm not that mad about... but I'll prob get if I can't get some suggestions.
Please help with some suggestions!!! Pics especially,

Have you considered any styling options that don't involve cutting? Maybe a French Braid? Those are fun. I only wish I knew how to braid my own hair.

For you it seems that growing long hair is just one of your many achievements, and that's fine. But this isn't the best board on which to discuss cutting it off!
Actually, dying it isn't such a bad idea IMHO! Since you won't be too troubled about long term damage why not try some way out colour combinations? You could bleach the top layers and dye underneath black; bleach the lot out and add streaks of "crazy colour" i.e. pillar box red and navy blue? Why not try being a vivid redhead for a month or so? (Assuming you're not already a redhead, of course - even if you are, go MORE red!). Colour could be the way to have a last blast with your long hair.
