What do you guys do about your sideburns...cut, leave them alone, let em grow?
let them grow man, sideburns are always good with long hair in my opinion, just make sure they grow thick and well....

I tried growing mine out a year or so ago, and the results were disastrous. The big thing is that growing them out made me look 10-15 years older :(
Now, I have mine down to the bottom of my ears, but I keep them trimmed pretty short.
The important thing is to wear them the way that makes you happy. Don't worry about what other people think.
Yup, that's why I let mine grow. :P
But I'm also going for a beard, so that influences it too.
I usually just let them grow long. I trimmed my beard for job interviews a couple of months ago, but I'm letting it grow out again.
Whereas a few months ago I would have recommended shaving a high as you can , if you have a tail I would suggest closely trimmed (like every 14 days) and no longer than the bottom of your ears.
I let mine grow so that they look like they are about half an inch below my ear lobes, when looking in the mirror. That's during the warm months when I shave. In late fall or early winter, I shave them off and then let a beard grow until the freezing temperatures stop. At least, that's the pattern I've settled into. I might occasionally shave them off during the warm months too, but then I let them grow back right away.
I'm in a period of experimentation myself,
Right now I have my sideburns quite long, right under my cheekbone and for the most part I feel satisfied with them...
For myself, usually just below earlobe is the norm. Trimming perhaps every 2 weeks or so. But, "Variations" can be kind of fun and unlike long hair results can be quickly changed. Where I live there is an apparent "fad" going on at the moment with "shaping" the Sideburn down to a thin point. Kind of a cool look!
