We could have put this site in a place where it would be free. And you'd all be looking at blinking annoying ads, and you'd be doing lots of waiting each time you wanted to see another page. Hey, it could be a "Yahoo Group!" NOT!!! We think you'd rather not have to think about (and curse) the interface while you are here, and instead enjoy what others have to say, and with their pictures show, about their hair.
So we put the site at a high speed web host with one of the best networks on the Internet. Users in both this planet's hemispheres tell us the site simply screams. This actually is not expensive - it's quite cheap. But it does cost some money. In this world you do get what you pay for.
If you're a starving student, a retired guy on a budgeted income, or anyone who has no money left over at the end of the month, no one wants any money from you. But if you're at that lucky station in life right now where you are sockin' some bread away, and if this place has brought you many hours of pleasure, why not send Scott some, to help him pay the bills? Just what you make in an hour or two would really go a long way.
Scott's not picky. He will take charge card donations via PayPal from anywhere. He will even take several currencies. In cash! As the site tech guy I made him up a page telling how to help him out, but he's been too shy about promoting it, guys, so I'm now giving his page a plug. It's a simple web page; it isn't gonna seize your computer and suck everything in your bank account out into Outer Slobovia. So do check it out - it's in the links at the top of the site's main page.
And drop something in the plate as it comes by, but only if it feels comfortable and cool for you to do that.
