I am just wondering; anyone else wears a hoop, not too small yet not too big, with their long hair. I think it looks pretty cool.
I wear 2, one in each ear,varying sizes sepending on wheather I'm wearing my hair up or down.
I wear 3 hoops in my left ear and 2 in my right. I'm never without them.
Got two in my left ear and one in right. Earrings are cool to me. I wear hoops, and feathers, all silver , never wear gold. Occasionaly I wear turquoise as well. But the idea of earrings has always been ultra cool to me.

My hair is only down to my nose right now, But I have one hoop in my left lobe, and soon will have one in the right lobe and in the left cartiledge as weel. It does look good!
Yes, I wear identical platinum bylateral hoops, not too big, not to small, and have for many years. Along with long hair they are symbols of our roles as "priests," to use the more common term, though we prefer "wizards" in the empirical pragmatic religion. All wizards must have either bi-lateral earrings or long hair, but most have both.
Our beliefs are simple. We ae amazed at the beauty of the earth, and want to care for it. We have compassion for all living creatures, but we are not necessarily vegitarian. We celebrate individual freedom and responsibility.
The best historical exemplar of a wizard in our order is Merlyn, though he has been badly slandered and reviled in many interpretations as somhow a perpertrator of evil. This is false and does not jive with his actual role of teaching an illigetimate boy who he raised how to be king and excell in power, because he knew that right makes might. Might does not make right.

Why was this in response to my post, and you used the term "our roles" and "our beliefs" as If I am in aggrement with your beliefs. Im kind of confused as to why this in a followup to MY post... weird.
I don't have any good closeup photos, but I have 7 of them. I have 4 in the right ear (that earlobe is larger) and 3 in the left ear. They are 20 gauge wire hoops in 7 different sizes, a truly one of a kind item. I made them myself from 14 karat gold wire.

I dunno, dude, I don't think the French military will approve of earrings, but the guy standing next to you would look pretty good with them. ;)
