Just returned from the hairdresser... she was really kind and atentious with me =) I took my sister with me and all went really well =) My ends feel sooooooooooooo SOOOOOOO better!! And she almost didn't take a think. It was barely an inch =) I notice the diference in the bangs most since it's my favorite part of my hair... But oh well... Here comes another year of growth =) Now with good ends ready to take the next year with better growth and head to waist lenght =D Here are the before pictures =)
Now be really honest and tell me what you think =) She didn't straightened my hair, she just blow dried it. I'm not gonna make it an habit =P
I'm fairly happy with my new fresh soft ends =) They feel great and now I get the doubled motivation to continue growing my hair =)
And for the last... GOODBYE DAMAGE!!!!!

I know the feeling, man. It feels great to get rid of damaged hair, and then it all feels so smooth! I used to get trims fairly often, but now I do it about once a year, if that. It sure feels great though. And I can tell it made you happy! You definitely have nice hair to be happy about! =)

It looks like the hairdresser did a very good job. I know you are pleased. I imagine that you will find that you have less tangles in the ends and that you hair is easier to comb and brush. Now that you have found a good hairdresser, you will have much less anxiety for future trims.
One other thing - Is that a picture of Amalia Rodrigues on the shelf on the left side of the top picture?
I don't think you have anything to worry about with your hair.
I mean it is just magnificent!! I so wish I had hair like yours!

Hey João, your hair looks even better now. Trimming off one centimeter of damage made quite a difference. It should be real easy to comb, now that those damaged ends are no longer clinging to each other. Keep growing it.
