Well, guys, I was fully prepared. Digital recorder in my shirtpocket, notepad on table, and about 80-100 family members and close friends I haven't seen in anywhere from 6 months to 25 years.
I can honestly say I did not get one negative comment (at least that I could hear) about my hair. It was interesting that my brother had just shaved his head recently. I noticed a few looks my way, but that was it. As the subject lines says, it was "much adieu about nothing".
The fact that I received no negative comments, and that the New Orleans Saints are 2-0 indicates to me that a thick layer of ice has decended into the bowels of Hades and taken hold; now I can plan to watch the Saints win the Superbowl with a ponytail down my back while others ponder why "hell hath frozen over"!

The Patriots will go 19-0 for this season.
