i thought it would be a good idea to start a thread in which everyone can post their favorite long hair pics, it can be whoever..
Ill start with Tuomas from Nightwish
The top pic is the newest promo pic for Evanescence. As you can see, the new album comes out October 3rd in the U.S(many have been waiting for this for a very long time). Despite this, I was able to get my hands on the new songs already. My old high school english teacher got the songs from a Russian site,(apparently the album is already out in Russia), so I guess I am among the first Americans to hear all of the new songs =) Of course all of the hair is to the left side of this pic (Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo)
The other pic is of course, Opeth.
Very cool, Im not a huge evanscence fan.. even though i respect them alot. Im more a nightwish kind of guy, love symphonic opera metal. of course, the fact that evanescence has female vocalist is a huge plus. btw.. how is the new album? :P
and opeth, well there isnt really much to say.. extremely amazing band and awesome hair heh.
The new album is awesome. It's a lot more theatrical than the last (primarily because Amy had much more control this time without Ben Moody around to be all authoritarian-like)

I'm glad to hear that about the album, though. I was honestly a bit worried after hearing "Call Me When You're Sober" - I mean, it sounds like Evanescence, but that's just it, you know - it doesn't break any new ground. And then the pop-ish name - scary stuff. I like the song, but I was just a bit concerned.
I found a very favorable review of the album in English on some Russian site (go figure), so it seems all really is well for Evanescence. I can't wait to get my greedy paws on it. :P

Probably most of his life. His hair does not seem to have a terminal length, or if his does have a terminal length, his growth cycle is about 20 years.

I would have to give my #1 vote for Danny Cecati of Eyefear (you can access lots of his pictures on his band's site). Let's face it, you can hardly beat ankle-length hair. And such beautiful hair, too.
I think my #2 vote would probably go to a non-rocker, and one of our own, Ed G. Ed has absolutely magnificent hair. And from reading his website, I suspect he's a really nice guy. You can see Ed's photos by accessing his site from this board.

I would have to go with Shawn Michaels from 1996 as his hair is one of my biggest inspirations or Chris Jericho back when it was still really long. I always wanted to grow mine back from the age of 8 but never could due to my parents rather traditional views on the subject.
