I often get dandruff after i wash my hair and i think i'm going to try Head & Shoulders Schampoo + Conditioner for a dry scalp.
Do anyone know if Head & Shoulders is good or bad for the hair?
Man, I use head and shoulders all the time, almost everyday. That is because I have, or had, a bad case of dandruff. Suprisingly, my hair comes out alot nicer than if I use some other stuff like Herbal Essences. Strange but tru. Its good for your hair. Take it from me.

Head & Shoulders Id never use that as Ive read on the MHLL in the past that Head & Shoulders Contains cleaning agents which kills the dandruff in affect but the agents also harms your hair so weither its true or not i dont know unless someone can says this and why ok

I used head and shoulder shampoo all the time everyday and it make my hair feel silkier than any other shampoo plus it kills dandruff... I wonder is that a false sense of health and in reality it makes your hair fall off?
I also heard H&S isn't good for hair. Some had said what was stated in a previous reply, and some had said it contained silicons that make your hair look healthier, but it has a similar effect like putting make-up on... makes you look good for a while and then it wears off.
If you have any long-haired friends with really good looking hair, ask them what they use. Usually brands that aren't advertised as much as H&S are much better. I use Nivea and I'm very satisfied with the results.
Still, I think that the falling-out hair because of a shampoo is a myth. The hair root is too deep inside the skin for it to be affected by the shampoo. Some side-effects caused by the shampoo, like irritated skin, scalp scratching, hair pulling, and a very damaged hair could trigger either a physical or a hormonal reaction for your hair to start falling off. In 90 % of cases it's on genetic base, though.
I would recommend not using H&S, and try some different brands. Try each brand for about two weeks to see the results. If they're satisfying, ask here which brand you use to see if it's only an illusive sign of health, or the brand really is good.

My experience says its gonna make hairs really really thin and I had serious hair fall issues ... it may not be true to you ... try it and find if its good for you ... I believe more in the GARNIER FRUCTIS ANTI DANDRUFF shampoo which works good for me and many of room mates too.

I dont really know much about H&S but i havnt really heard alot of good things about it
mostly negative than good
but i use Loreal Vive for Men
its a pretty good shampoo
goes with my hair and keeps it pretty nice
plus it says that it has a formula for thickening hair and giving it more body so its pretty good to me.
