These bristles feel hard, but are flexible. They're supposed to distribute natural oil to the rest of you hair right? Funny, I use mine to gently neaten out my thick hair. I rarely get any breakage. I am seriously gonna ditch the comb for life, yesterday I tried to detangle with a comb, and I got that awful snap.
So from now on it's: BBB/fingercombing. I guess this routine is for people with thick/wavy hair like mine. I am scared that BBB were always meant for straight haired people, but it goes through my hair smoothly and gently. I shouldn't worry right?
My boar bristle brush was useless for my hair as it just kept snapping the hairs. My hair is thick/wavy/very slighltly curly at the ends, and yeah, I used it once then never again. It was a good make too. Cost me about 7 quid. I have a comb which cost 50p - the 'spikes' are really wide - like a afro pick.
