Well, it's about that time. Another month has passed, and I've gained another 1/2 inch of length. After doing the math, I figured out that my hair grows exactly at that 1/2 inch per month average. As you can see, I had a bit of fun with my progress pics this time. I have one paint shopped photo, one regular(which shows that my bangs have reached the bottom of my chin =), and one that turned out unintentionally blurry. I was going to delete the blurry one, but I kind of like the dazed, disoriented feel of the photo. It kind of goes with my mood as of late. I have three exams to take this week. Thankfully, I've kept up with my studying and reading from the beginning, so it's not too big of a hassle. As usual, comments are welcome.
You're hair is looking awesome dude. That's really good progress and it's quite cool to know that we're both on our 13 month updates at roughly the same time. Your hair looks really healthy and well managed and it seems to be at a similar length to mine although mine I think is a little bit longer. My bangs reach to a little below my mouth but that's probably due to the fact that mine was layered as the back is a fair bit longer than the front. It seems that mine averages at nearly an inch per month as it seems to have made quite a jump in length recently.

Thanks =) Your hair is looking great as well. Straight, red hair is a very rare hair type, and it will defnitely be even more unique with every bit of length it gains.
As for your question, 13 months ago my hair was very short. It was probably about 1 and 1/2 inch on top and 1/2 inch on the sides and back. I plan on growing my hair to at least midback length (probably more though). I'm not sure if I've ever seen you talk about a goal length for yourself. Do you have one in mind?
Thanks for the kind words! Its funny to go from being made fun of my whole life over my hair color to it being appreciated! FInally some people besides me and my irish grandmother like it!
Anyways, I am looking to go a few inches past the shoulder to start with, if I choose to keep going I very well might! I've never seen myself as a mid back kind of person, but time will tell.
Well children haven't grown up enough to appreciate how uncommon and beautiful it is. And my favourite thing about red hairs...definite trait of Viking ancestry! Congratulations, woooo, etc!

It looks like your hair's coming along pretty well. It is so shiny! It'll be mid back before you know it. Good luck with the exams! The beard is back...yes!

Awesome, man. I love the first pic for its sort of simultaneous speed and slowness (like a sudden suspension of time), and that it just looks cool, lol. And the third pic, IMO, shows your progress the best - you've really come a way. I can't believe it's only 13 months, and I can't wait for the 2-year update. :P Keep it up!
