Those amazing shots you posted along with your tattoo got me thinking what a great cd cover it would make ;0)
Hey, that does look really cool! Maybe I should start a band or something :)
Thanks for doing that, it's great to be cheered up like that!
I love messing around with stuff like that.
Wow! Is that ever neat! :-)
I wish I could join up... I wonder if there's a way to start an online band where each member would have a decent mike and perhaps a way of getting all the members to play into the mike or whatever, kinda like MSN or skype only with CD quality sound. I have been toying around with that idea, just need someone to write the proper software....
And then we can use MIDI or something to take care of the drums...
I've been in a few bands around where I live, but the one I'm most involved with at the moment is a Celtic Metal band with a guy who lives in Virginia, which is about a 3 hour flight from here! We divide duties between the Irish Flutes, Tin Whistles, Bombarde, Bodhran, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Vocals, Bass, and Drums. It's good fun because it's strictly audio editing! We don't have to worry about making arrangements just to play together for a few minutes a day. And it's a good way to limit the number of musicians on the project! If it weren't a "studio" band it would take us about 8 guys to play each part. Too bad we can't play live. But how many people interested in metal are flutists, whistlists, bombardists, and bodhranists anyways? We wouldn't have a choice either way!
...and I think we're interested in some Celtic fiddling too. Like I said, it's good fun, but I don't think it beats the fun of playing live gigs and hearing your creations come to fruition in one big jam session.
Wow, that looks really cool. What program did you use? I have a friend who can do this kind of stuff. It's pretty amazing how photo editing programs have evolved, and there are basically endless possibilities now.
good old photoshop, its my job anyway so its only maybe five minutes work.
I have two rock album covers to do in the new year.
