What states are more friendly towards Long hair on males in terms of employment?
Okay, i may get some barbs for this (and I'll admit my comment may be politically biased) but anyway, a rule of thumb might be to generally consider the blue states more long hair friendly. I know there are always exceptions but when i go to red states i see most guys looking like tv news talking heads.
I would say the Northeast (especially VT, NH, and ME), and the West Coast (CA, OR, WA)...

Just avoid "Bible Belt" states or states known for discrimination... like FL, AL, GA, whatever...
Speaking from experience, Florida is a complex case. Souht Florida is a WHOLE different world from northern Florida. I live in Miami, and here long hair isn't that big of a deal. Hispanic people run th e city and long-haired people can be seen everywhere. Go to Orlando or more north like Ocale/Gainesville and your pretty much screwed.
