OK I have about 8 months worth of growth, my hair is a little over 4 inches (I can touch the bottum of my nose with it), and I'm loving it. Still there are some things that get on my nerves. Like why does my hair look it's best right before I go to sleep at night? lol Also, I have to wear a hat to work, and it makes my hair poof out in all directions in the back. Anyway, please share your peeves here.
Anyway, please share your peeves here.
1)It gets caught on doorknobs.
2)I have to avoid sitting on it while riding my bicycle.
3)It takes forever to dry after washing it.
4)It gets caught on my earrings sometimes.
5)My hair is a mix of straight, wavy, curly, coarse, medium, and fine. Add in the fact that it is well over 3 feet long and you have a recipe for disaster when it comes to tangling and knots.
6)According to Murphy's Law where are you most likely to place your hands when getting up from sitting on the floor or ground? On your hair, of course. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Ouch.

... And I thought getting my hair constantly caught in my armpit or falling into my soup was "bad"!

I was noticing something odd. When you look at this thread on
the main page there are two responses to the main post. But when you go into the third post is an additional response.
(Urban?) It shows up on the response page but not on the main page. I found that odd, refreshing doesn't fix the problem.
not odd at all.Urban might have clicked on "reply to this message" when he was in the 1st or 2nd response page, instead of the main thread...by accident.I did that once
little to speak of luckily:
1.) Tangles and knots
(To be expected anyway.) Only takes a few minutes a day, so I really have no complaints and am happy with what I have.
...you are right in the middle of an awkward stage and your hair will
puff out whenever it gets a chance (which may be most of the time).
With length, many of your problems will begin to disappear.

Thanks. I went through the ackward stage when i first grew it out, but I got the back trimed until the front caught up. This time I'm waiting until the front catches up, and then some. Should save me some money this way, and I do kind of like it when it behaves. :)
