Hi. Just dropping by for a while to share some random pictures of various hairstyles I've been messing around with. I've found that being able to style long hair differently, even if you don't wear it as such outside of your dorm room, is a wonderful benefit of having longer hair. It feels like a natural tendency to just play around with it and see what comes out (which reminds me oddly of multiple-choice questions, but that's another thing entirely).
Anyway, here we go. This is another braid I did, a bit after (deep-)conditioning my hair with oil. The oil totally eliminates the frizz in my hair for a few hours, and I think it improved the braid a good deal.
A bun with damp hair. I love making buns, but I've never worn one out (well, one like this) unless it's under a baseball cap.
How do you do that??? and I want to have your hair texture!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAYBE TRY STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR???
This is some kind of faux bun that my cousin always wears. It's like when you put your hair in a ponytail but bring the end back into the band; in this case, I didn't let the end of the tail hang out, and it creates a neater look. I love this style. This pic doesn't do any justice to it, though. Yes, I have many posters.
Love it so much!!!! how do you do that?????????????????
Too cool for ya.
lol, this hat makes me feel like listening to jazz. Or like Raiden from Mortal Kombat. :P
Ah, Mortal Combat. Just the mentioning of that game fills me with nostalgia. Yeah, I definitely see the Raiden resemblance, but this pic also reminds me of Slash. Cool indeed =)
Good look and good hair style and how do you do it too??
It looks better from the side, but I'm still not a huge fan of this style right now. With a lot more length, I'm sure it'll look awesome.
it looks fine now in my opinion--this and the french braids :P
still love it and i want to have your hair!!! it is so beautiful!!!!!! and how do you do it???
The faux bun thingamajig again, but with the hair at the end of the tail left to stick out.
liked it too And how do you do that too??? and i like your hair really much!!!!!!!!!!!
amazing hair dude . do you put something on it always or does it look that shiny and well defined as it does in your pics. my hair is similar to yours . i hope it comes out that great .

Thanks, man. What I do is that I don't use shampoo, for one - I clean my scalp with a clarifier (in this case, apple cider vinegar) every week and a few days. I use Suave natural conditioner, oil, and occasionally honey while I'm in the shower, and the oil really makes your hair look shiny and frizz-free. I also sometimes use the same conditioners as leave-ins, but I rarely leave stuff in my hair, to tell the truth. I use oil on the ends of my hair before I go to bed sometimes. I also have to detangle my hair a lot (I use my fingers to comb it after I shower and throughout the day), or it'll stick together and form dreadlocks (which has happened before).
You should show a pic of your hair. I'm sure it'll turn out great.
Peace
Dear Fallen,
Don't you think it is time to get up, with hair like yours. Perhaps Risen Angel. Promoted Angel. Don't forget that this word "Angel" does not mean good, but literally means "messanger." Are you not a messanger of freedom? I think you could wear your hair in public, in any of the ways that you have shared with us. Try it one at a time.
I am older than you. I work for myself. No one can fire me. But I have noticed that I can do very well what I please and I still get general respect in the community. I have just been elected president of a local organization that supports honesty in government, and I hear a rumor that I am being given an award for professional accomplishment.
I tell you this not to brag, for I live in a small city and they run out of people to chair organizations and they could never admit that there was no one worth honoring in town, so since I am known to pay my parking fines they chose me.
Friends, push the envelope. There is more freedom out there than we claim, and the egg is on the face of those who try to limit our freedom.

This is an unusual braid style. Very distinctive and it seems to work well
with your hair's texture.
Good Luck!
Very, very cool! I love the different looks and great technique on the braid.
The chillin' pic rocks. I haven't played Mortal Kombat in ages but the name Raiden rang a bell - that was my favorite character to play.
If your hair is this cool now, imagine in a year! Thanks for sharing these.
Ever so true! And, some of those styles turned out really great for you. Good luck in messing around with all kinds of ideas. Having Long Hair should be fun! :-)
Thanks for sharing the photos with all of us.
I admire you a lot Fallen =)
You've just shared some great pictures and I like all the styles =) I feel that it must be so much harder to grow curly long hair...
Either ways, you're doing a wonderfull job, I hope you will never quit on your journey and always share it with us =) =) =)
Congratulations =)
That is one wicked-cool braid. I'd wear a braid like that anywhere, anytime, anyplace! It is so tight and perfect. Your hair looks great. I saw a girl the other day with a hair type similar to your, and she had mid-back hair that looked awesome. She looked Brazilian (cue "The Girl from Ipanema"). Seriously though, your hair is looking great and I know your not from Brasil, but anyhow, again, WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS?
Well, I hope you are having a fine time at school and studying hard. See you later, Bragi
I'm very impressed with all of the styles you've tried! I'm hoping to start experimenting a lot more with some hairstyles too (Actually, I've already started a little.) I especially like the half-way ponytail style you tried, with the ends sticking out from underneath. It looks VERY cool with the ringlets sticking out. I think you could definitely wear that one out in public and the response would be great.
I love it evern more nad how do you do that???
Sorry this is so late. Thanks for all of your comments!
