How does it feel like having realy long hair ?
I started growing long hair just around this last dec , As I intialy wanted to feel my hair while head banging on some heavy metal numbers.
But I dont feel the same now. I mean though my hair is long I dont enjoy the exictement in feeling it while listening to extreme metal.
Believe me it feels even much more .. Its a phenomenal expreince of all sorts ....Philosphical , peotic , warrior , noble , rebellion ...hehe much more distinctive feelings infact gets added on.... I am even more excited as how it would feel with waist length hair (wheres my horse ...!!!)

Anyways, there are a lot of touches and feeling that one can experience only when it has long hair. Like when you get it wet, the way it feels on your body (or even when it is dry), the way it feels on your face, the way it flies with the wind (that's one of my favorite long hair moments), the way you can style it, the brushing dance (to me, brushing my hair is like dancing with it =) =P )... I dunno, there are a lot of things one can experience with their hair... Growing long hair just feels so right to me =) I hope noone will ever take my long hair away from me =)

I am happy you feel very much the same as me & as any guy with long hair!!!!
Even I love it when its wet while I am taking a shower as exotic it an get hahaha ... & when I am on my bike riding with my hair flying high.. it feels like I am touching the sky (especially when you have a heavy bike ..H.Dav. kinds off )its the MAN & the BEAST experience ..beat it till your are quenched with even more excitement !!!!!!!
& to be even more experimental ... u are serious with art & literature ,,, Its good to feel this creative side of ur life that you just discovered unknowingly.
Fuel it growing longer & adding more & more passion every day!!!.......
& hope no one takes away this long hair from us...

Amen. It's truly a remarkable feeling that is hard compared to any other way of expression all those things you just described. Being a metalhead myself, it's alot about belonging and expressing your true self I think. You express what you feel, what the music make you feel and, many times for me, strong feelings built up inside during a very long time. These special moments makes all the effort worth it.
