hi
ive been gorwing my hair out since the begining fo the year. Had one trim around may which just trimmed all the very ends around the edges and sides so that the hair grtowing from the very top of my head would catch up.
Had another trim the other day pretty much purely on the hair from the top of my head because it had got quite frayed and damaged and bad looking. Its annoyed me quite a bit but there's nothing i can do about it now.
However, I have one small problem. I've stopped using a hair dryer now to stop it getting dmamaged again but when i leave it to dry naturally a fine top layer of hair always sticks up. It goes really curly and coily (if thats even a word!) and doesnt pull straight very easily at all. My hair is not the straightest hair anyway but its certainly not that bad. These hairs tend to turn somewhat spring like.
I dont really know what the cause of this is, nor how to stop it. Ive got some "smooth and silky" hair stuff to put on my hair once its towel dried which says its anti frizz as well but it doesnt help too much (though does make my hair smooth!).
Anone kwo what's causing this and/or how to try and cure it?
I should note that it appears worse on the back left of my head than right????
thanks
I don't think blow drying is damaging as long as it's done on an occasional basis and on a low setting...as far as the coiling problem goes...maybe some gel would help...I wouldn't know though as I don't use gel personally...I have a lot of strays that do their own thing myself..
I am currently having a similar problem. The only difference is that I do use a fairly strong gel, but it really doesn't make much of a difference. This problem has just started up within the past couple of weeks, and I just can't explain it. I haven't used a hair dryer in probably 3 years, and I don't really do anything overly damaging to my hair. The only thing that I could think of was maybe they were hairs that had gotten pulled by combing and had grown in oddly. I can say that even a combo of gel, leave-in, and jojoba oil doesn't seem to work. Whatever causes it, I only hope there is a simple remedy.
hi hi
Your hair is telling you that it is growing back after shedding a few fociles which have taken a rest and are now reproducing, so their outgrowth is shorter than your longest hair. Take care of them, for every on is numbered, as the Bible Says..
