i know not many of you guys out there would wear there hair tied back in a ribbon like mine, but i think it will look really good on most guys, it will just take a bit of time for the people arround you to get used to it.
That's the same picture you just posted below. If you're going to keep spamming the board, would you please do us the courtesy of posting a different picture each time.
Thanks!
Entirely agree with Jason - the feminine/cross dress (MENS LLHB) approach has little place here at best - to repeat it twice or more over simply wastes expensive band width for absolutely no purpose.
I think most guys here wouldn't be comfortable wearing a ribbon..(including myself) :P
Actually, I own foot-long black satin ribbon that I bought at a craft store once. I've been known to wear it over a thin elastic hairtie in my ponytail as a fashion homage to the ribbons men used to wear in their white wigs in the 1800s.
That's not necessarily correct. Ribbon can look amazing on a guy, but he's got to carry it well, and that can take a lot of guts. Face it, ribbon is *very* flashy, and modern males are conditioned to blend into the background rather than stand out in a crowd.
I've worn ribbon-bows on occasion, although usually at the bottom of a 'tail; they *will* attract attention, and if you're not up to that level of attention you might think twice about trying it. But, if you're chock full of confidence, and can project that, one can get away with a bow quite comfortably. Think colonial-US timeframe and you'll get a feel for the look.
Nice, Nisha.
While I won't be using it as an accessory to help feminize my look, I would like to see how it looks, once my hair is of good enough length. Maybe by the end of 2007?

There is no way I would wear a ribbon in the form of a bow in my hair. There are so many other ways of keeping a pony tail in place. I do like your hair and wish mine was that length.
hi scott, thanks for your reply, i love wearing ribbons, i think if girls can wear guys clothes why can't i wear what i like, i was a bit scared the first time i started wearing ribbons, but people soon got used to it, i've been wearing ribbons and hair clips now for absolute years, i do go out dressed as a girl as you can see from the pictures that i have posted, im not gay but thats the way i like to look, i'll post some more pictures with different styles later this week.
