Hello all,
Just wanted to let everyone know I am still around. I have been checking the board a lot, but just not posting very much. Things have been crazy over here on my end. My Dad has bladder cancer and that has us all on edge over here.
My hair is still long. :-) It appears to be nearing mid back which I did not think it would do. I really need to post an update picture as it is much longer.

Sorry to hear of his condition.
I have a friend over 80 who was diagnosed with terminal cancer some years ago and he took two determined steps. One was to eat only boiled vegetables with brown rice with no salt to deprive the cancer of things it likes and second he meditated and told the cancer "Hey look cancer! I know you are there and we can co-exist but if you kill me, we burn together in the funeral pyre."
I called him last week and he's still chirpy and has outlived the time his doctor said he had left on earth by some years now.

I am really sorry to hear that, ESDI-80. And, while I am sure your family is being given a tonne of advice these days, I would like to pkug a product that my Father-in-Law started taking when he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer about three years ago:
It is called Immunocal (in the US) or HMS90 here in Canada. The info on the product is available from its manufacturer's website http://www.immunotec.com/, though, briefly, it increases in one's body the amount of glutathione - a key antioxidant - that both rids the body of damaging free-radicals and toxins as well as 'cleans' other antioxidants in the body so they can continue doing their job longer.
My father-in-law has not undergone any conventional treatment and is doing very well: still playing in his seniors basketball league every week.
Just trying to spread the word on a good product to someone who might benefit from it, and hoping that this doesn't sound spammish. Go to the website it you have questions, I'm not selling the stuff.
