Does anyone else get a single hair that knots itself, which leaves me with a tiny little knot in the hair. I seem to have a lot of these.
Yeah, I get those some times. If it's two hairs sometimes you can pull them apart OK, but when it's one with a knot, I usually trim it. :(
I'm impatient though. Maybe you could untie them with a magnifying glass and a needle. I just get rid of them because the hair is usually bent and damaged anyway too. They bend right where the knot is. It's usually near the end, which makes me think that perhaps evening up the hair would help, so my question would be, anybody have knots that a trim helped resolve?
I find them periodically but not often. They're almost always about a quarter to a half an inch from the end.
There's often a peice of lint in the knot. Linty or pilled linen and clothing may be a possible cause.

i get several of these every day and they cause most of my tangles. evey hair that i find like that seems like its destroyed all the was up to the root and comes right out with a really samll tug.
