If you google hair trends for men 2007, you can expect something like completely bald à la THX=1180, or maybe a bit more casual and relaxed like 1.5 microns on the top, and .5 microns on the sides so no combing is necessary.
However, it seems, that many sites also show models with long hair as well. It seems, that following fashions is no longer "in", and each designer seems to follow his own drummer.
Sometimes fashionistas will propose high-maintenance styles that make you return to the salon regularly for maintenance, and make you buy tons of styling products that may even make your hair fall out.
I do not follow fashions, and just let my hair grow, and wash it regularly. However it is pleasant to see that long hair on men is just a style to chose from amongst a series of styles.

2007 Hair trends for men.
Interesting to see the last picture showing a guy with rear pigtails (in the Emglish sense of two plaits aka braids). The terminology is so confused by regional variations in our language it's probably ckearer in the French, which said something like divise a l'arriere est tresse, or words to that effect.

I always look at those models and think 'who the hell looks like that'? I guess the answer is no one for more then a few hours out of a profesional salon.
