This girl I'm friends with was telling me how she has really thick hair that she tames by straightening. Anyway, she was finger detangling a knot in it the other day, when her hair gave her a 'paper cut'-there was even blood!

My hair has sliced my fingers if I haven't been careful. I take it as a warning to slow the *bleep* down. Hehehe

I had something similar happen last year - I ran my fingers through my hair while it was wet and got a couple of SPLINTERS! Was pretty hard to get them out too, because they were flexible and not thick chunks of wood.

I have gotten splnters in my feet several times from my dog's shed fur. I also have friends in the hair-cutting industry who say it is a regular occurance; getting shards of hair stuck in their fingers, or worse, inbetween fingers...
