Well its been 15 months since I decided to grow my hair from shaved. I couldn't be more happy with my decision and am starting to get quite a few positive comments from my friends. I can't wait tho until its long enough to put into a ponytail!
And here is a photo of me a year ago - just for comparison!

Yes I think you definitely look better overall. The tan and the shaved face have something to do with it as well.
