Hi there guys,
Can anyone recommend a type of brush for my hair? At the moment I'm using a paddle brush, but i fear im pulling too much hair out with it.
Also, I was wondering what sort of hair type you guys would say I have? I know my hair's curly but, is my hair thick? As at the moment I'm using a shampoo and condiotioner for "normal hair", but it doesn't seem to be doing its job.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks extremely thick to me. I don't think any brush would work--for you I think finger combing is the only way to go. I'm having good experiences with the Aussie conditioners. unfortunately, the only method I know of is to buy different brands, try them and experiment until you find one that is the best of the lot for you.
Very nice hair. I would def say its thick. Because of the curls I would stay away from brushes. Try to just either use a wide tooth comb or just use you fingers.
Your hair looks like it would not enjoy any kind of brush. I would suggest an afro comb might be a better option for you.

first, your hair looks phantastic! Probably, a wide-tooth comb or a brush with few and wide bristles might be best. Experiment with some pommade or jojoba oil or with dimethicone/cyclomethicone, and try avoiding shampoo most of the time. Water plus conditioner often works best.
