Sometimes it is not very pleasant to have the pony tail in-pinched between my back and backrest. For this reason, I wear my hair sometimes like this :o)
Hello Christian,
I sometimes do that on bad hair days (Esp summer days with high humidity), however I work in a relaxed milieu (in terms of hair, not work), and I usually wear my hair down.
You have really beautiful hair, and I hope you keep it as long as I keep mine (I have long hair since August 1979).
Have a nice day,
Georges in Montreal.
your hair looks lovely, looks great in that style
Nice hair as always, Christian. May I ask how you secure your hair when you put it up like that? When I try I never feel it is fixed securely enough to risk going out and I always lose my nerve and end up twisting it up, securing with one of those large "toothy" clips and letting the ends fall back down over the clip to cover it up.
I hope I can explain it in english:
I am using a worn-out tie for this style (because otherwise I am not able to loop it three times round)
I am twisting my hair clock-wise until it looks like a snail. Then I am looping the tie twice round the base, after that, I am looping it a last time round the highest twist (=the first twist) of the "snail" - and this will keep your hair in position for hours and hours - "bombenfest" I would say in german :o)
"Bomb-proof" in english.
Million times better than my German...for some reason I thought you were French - perhaps the name. Anyway, thanks for that - I've used a worn out tie as you describer to fix my hair like this before to sleep with it twisted in order to get a nice wave in it the next day but for some reason never thought to try that as a method for during the day. When it gets warm again I will remember and try it outdoors - it is too cold to be putting my hair up at the moment!
Lol! Well, hopefully I will never have to test it to that extreme!
Hi Christian,
that's a super-creative hair style - I like the looks of it! So you can vary - that's great. Plus, I like your head in front of that Chinese picture.
All the best!
