I think it (your hair) looks good already. And while I am not a big fan of facial hair, yours looks really cool especially since its so well groomed.

I did shave off the beard once, and my wife said I looked like my mother, and never to do that again! I have to agree that I don't look as good w/o as I do w/ (if you can imagine it being any worse!)
Looks good Lon, decent progress for 9 months. Is your wife supportive of you hair decisions? My wife was adamant that she prefered short hair on my head, but now she is acceptive of my longer hair.
