But not so short as i thought i would at first, my mother made the trim.
Right now i'm unsure if i wanna continue my longhair journey from this point, or if i'll just cut it even shorter.
How long would it take from this point until i can put everything in a decent ponytail?

Hey Simpa =)
You were very courageous to have that big of a trim... I guess you needed it =) From now on, you can grow your hair with its natural colour, with healthy ends =)
I wish you the best luck and hope you will keep it up =)
See ya!
I noticed that my hair is about as long as you're hair was last year in October, so hopefully it will grow back pretty quickly:)
wow...that looks SO much better and its still long :) all the damage and thin ends are history. I don't think it will take that long to have a full tail again...maybe a few months...but it'll be worth it cuz it will look 100 times better than it did before! good luck!
aim - cupkakez420 if you wanna chat :P
Hi Simon,
your mother seems to have done an excellent job, it did turn out extremely well! It's still reasonably long, you do look great with it, and the ends are healthy now - so, grow it really long!
All the best!
Hans-Uwe
P.S. It shouldn't be more than 3-4 months (possibly less) until you can put it back into a decent pony tail again.
Definitely looks great and you still have plenty of length! Awesome! =)

Hi Simon,
Your hair looks great, your mum did a great job. I respect you for getting this trim, as it was your decision for your hair and your decision was a very good one. Your hair is now in great condition to do what you like with, wether you opt to grow it longer or not.
Good luck
Neil
Still looking pretty damn awesome. Is there something you put in your hair to keep it back or is that wet hair and gravity?
I put Brylcreme sometimes, it's a sort of oil wich was used pretty often in the 50's, the hair gets greasy but adds alot of shine:)
Thanks. :) There are some days that I wish I didn't have to wear a cap to work. :P
Looks good Simon, I am glad you did not cut it all off :)
Your mom did a great job, I hope that you will try again for a tail because it looks good on you.
P.S. I used to use Brylcreme back in the late 60's, it is what mt dad used... :)
Looks great, Simon--the ends look much healthier now! It should look great with more growth. Happy growing--David
Hello:
Looks much much better. For some reason I think that is a much better length for you. Looks thicker and healthier at that length.
Vince
I'm glad you didn't go for a much shorter cut...I think this (shorter) length looks good on you...personally, I like it better than your previous length. Did you Mom cut in layers or just a blunt cut to the ends? Consider waiting a few months before cutting it any shorter...
..follow your instincts and your heart. Makes no sense to be an unhappy longhair.
from this point, or if i'll just cut it even shorter.
I agree with everyone else, it looks good. I have always felt that you have to do what makes you happest. I think if you let it grow, you get into a ponytail in a couple of months. Thats not that far off really.
Well definetly looks healthier and better !!!
