If you ask me stop H & S. It may have worked wonders to few but for me it created insane hair loss. You may want to talk to a doctor as to what underlying condition is causing a hair loss i.e if its genetic or nutritional etc., But for me stopping H&S helped a lot I used the green mint version and also the pink version and both were damaging.
Take vitamins A and D for a week and a half at least and your hair will be better and it will stop shedding. My grandma used to have the same problem. And also it will be good to stop H&S like Shrini says. I never liked it, it's awful.

I'd be careful with the vitamins A and D part - DO NOT EXCEED 100% of the RDA (Recommended daily allowance).
Use biotin + Zinc + Vitamin B complex + folic acid + some iodine (no more than 200 micrograms a day, avoid if you have an overfunction of your thyroid gland).
