Hey everyone,
My hair isn't very long yet; it's just entering the awkward stage. I've been slicking it back with gel/spray but it's a pain and I'm not crazy about the way it looks. But I'm not sure what else to do with it for work (bank). Any tips?
Thanks.
I would simply wear a cap.
Cheers Srini.
Thanks, I can't wear a cap to work.
first, does the bank have a policy on hair? The financial services industry is kind of known for not being all that tolerant of long hair on men. If the bank has some rule about it, you are going to hit the wall with that eventually because at some point, it's going to get too long to hide. you may as well think about what you want to do now before you are forced to make a decision. I'm not trying to be confrontational; it's just that every longhair who winds up in that kind of fix either tells the boss to go push a rope and quits, or gets it cut and does a real burn about it on the inside. so i'm trying to help you avoid that.
If there's no policy, just comb it down with a wide tooth comb, try to tame it with a round styling brush and let it air dry.
Yes, please do find out specifically what the hair policy is before you get your hopes crushed.
This was all too true for me!
Keerp growing and you will nor regret it.
It seems more awkward to you than it does to your public, who likes you and accepts you.

Hi Alan,
I'd try an alice band that has the same color of your hair. For the next few months, you will be o.k. in any case. Hope your bank has no evil hair policy.
